Daniela is currently building hum: a tech startup that connects rising brands with young creators in India and Nigeria to find customers online and drive more sales. With the massive digitization of small businesses in emerging markets and the booming creator economy, there is a 100 billion U.S. dollars opportunity to solve the digital sales challenge for millions of ecommerce businesses.
Before the Oxford MBA, Daniela worked in India for 7 years. She marketed, prototyped, and scaled impact businesses across several sectors: artisan products, health technology, waste management and education technology. She co-founded an eye care company in 2013 that today serves millions in Assam, and an edtech company in Bangalore in 2014 that received the NASSCOM Social Innovation Tech for Good Award. She brings a hands-on attitude, an obsession with getting-things-done, alongside great sales & marketing, analytical and storytelling skills.
