Immediately after completing his Oxford MBA, Sujeet joined the World Economic Forum (WEF) at Geneva as a Global Leadership Fellow (GLF). His responsibilities included identifying, selecting and managing the Community of Young Global Leaders (YGLs) from Asia and the Middle East, and managing the education task force, which engages these YGLs in championing and facilitating innovative education models for rural schools in developing countries. Sujeet left the WEF to study for a mid-career Master in Public Administration (MPA) at Harvard University’s Kennedy School (HKS).
Currently, he is mentoring and advising a social enterprise, KalingaKusum, which is dedicated to creating and accelerating livelihood and entrepreneurial opportunities for youths in rural and semi-urban Odisha. Though he has stepped out of an active role at Kalinga Kusum, upon his appointment to the Government, he continues to provide the organisation with leadership and direction.
